Why Aminata built SabatiPlus
From film sets to casting rooms, Aminata saw a gap — and built the bridge.
Working across documentaries, narrative films, and production in Conakry, Aminata Kaba kept meeting extraordinary Guinean talent that the wider industry could not see. Actors, musicians, filmmakers, and crew members with real skill — but no central place to be found, no shared directory, and too few paths from local creativity to paid opportunity.
Talent was often passed around through informal networks: WhatsApp chains, personal referrals, and word of mouth. That made discovery slow, unequal, and invisible to partners outside Guinea. Companies looking for creatives and creatives looking for work were searching in different corners, without a trusted platform built for the Guinean context.
SabatiPlus was created to change that. As an extension of Sabati Studios' mission, it gives Guinea's creative community a professional home — one listing platform where profiles, companies, and opportunities can be discovered across the country and shared with the world. Aminata built SabatiPlus so talented Guineans would not have to wait to be noticed. They could be listed, seen, and connected.
SabatiPlus is not an agency and does not represent talent directly — it is a listing and discovery platform owned by Sabati Studios, created to promote Guinea and talented Guineans.
